Winter Wine Necklace

This is a kit that I got from Sherry Wayt at Ready to Bead. The pattern is by Sandra D. Halpenny.

(Excuse the pins in this picture, I have it setup for a necklace/earring display and didn't want to pull them out :-))

Hematite Stars

I had these Hematite Stars left over from another project. I saw a pattern by Varvara Konstantinov (A Necklace with Hematite Beads) and knew exactly what I wanted to do with them. (Click to see bigger picture)

Penguins

I made this for my sister's birthday. She loves penguins!! The pattern is by Julie Ann Smith.

Sea Star

This is the finished necklace that I was working on last week and asked opinions on. I am really pleased with how it came out. This will be donated for a silent auction for the local chapter of YFC. I hope it does well for them. The center "bead" is called "Sea Star" based on a pattern by Florence Turnour and Gwen Fisher. The side beaded beads are based on their "cuboctohedron" pattern. Thanks for looking! (You can click on the photo for a better view)

Other pretties!

A Sandra Halpenny design, I love this one!

This uses cultured pearls, labrodite and gold spacers.

This was in the June 2006 issue of Bead and Button magazine, the pattern is called Arabesque Bracelet by Joanie Jenniges. This is one of two color combinations that I did.

Another Sandra Halpenny design

A gift for a friend

These beaded beads are based on pattern by Florence Turnour and Gwen Fisher.

Opinions needed

Which side do you like better, the left side has a caramel brown in between the whites, the right side has a light pink between the whites. (Note the center beaded bead is based on a pattern by Florence Turnour and Gwen Fisher.

One more for today

A dear friend had watched my boys from the time I went back to work after their births through the end of summer last year. (She still watches them occassionally though) I wanted to make a special remembrance for her of her years watching them. This is what I made for her. There is a close-up following. The pattern is by Sandra Halpenny.

pt 2

This is the close up of the last necklace in previous post.

This is a necklace/bracelet set that I made for another online friend!!

And yet another for an online friend. This one was for a Secret Valentine exchange.
This is actually the first piece of jewelry that I made. While on a women's retreat I noticed a bead store where you could actually make something there. That was how I spent my free time at the retreat. Needless to say the addiction started!

Feb 2007

I started this blog to share some of the jewerly that I have been making.

So here goes:

This is a pattern by Sandra Halpenny called "Seed and Fire". I wanted to make something for fall and this reminded me of little leaves.
This bracelet is based on a pattern by Glenda Payseno. I came up with the colors for it. It is one of my favorite bracelets to wear. The picture following is a close-up. I made this to wear with the necklace that is following. It uses the same beads that were used in the necklace but isn't an exact match but I like it.

This necklace uses beaded beads based on a pattern by Florence Turnour and Gwen Fisher. They just add so much to the necklace. I am so HOOKED on making beaded beads. This is one of my favorite necklaces as well. (Of course I have several that I could say that about! :-))

This necklace as well incorporates beaded beads. This was made for a special online friend as part of a Secret Santa exchange at Christmas. She mentioned that her favorite color was green so I made this for her with that in mind. The first picture in next post is a close-up of the beads.
